Though the iPhone 3G is one of the greatest smartphones in the market there are some problems which show its weakness. The main problem in iPhone 3G are as follows.

Battery – Issues related to battery are really a big problem in iPhone. The iPhone 3G has a non replaceable battery and also the battery life drops down soon. It is noted that after a couple hours of use, the battery life drops by about 30%.

Camera- In iPhone 3G there is no flash or video recording feature. The camera is only 2 Megapixel. There is also a little image noise and the interior shots lack light.

MMS- Multimedia messaging service in missing in iPhone 3G. Though it has email options to send photos to other mobiles. The photos send from other mobiles through MMS can’t be viewed inPhone.

Cut and Paste- This is another important feature that the iPhone 3G should posses. Till today from the day of first generation the users of iPhone are requesting the Apple to include this feature as this option will make the iPhone a whole lot easier.

No Live TV- Though there is a feature to view the youtube videos in iPhone 3G it lacks the live TV option which is included in many other smartphones.

Storage- In all the mobile phones today the storage capacity is really an issue. In iPhone 3G it has only 8GB and 16GB storage which is not enough. Either the phone should be designed so that it supports memory card or 32GB storage is needed.

There are also some more missing features in iPhone 3G like landscape keyboard for messaging, voice dialing, and flash support for web browser and also there is no accessible mass file storage.
